North Korea Penetrates Crypto Exchange With Brand New Malware: Kaspersky Lab

Without naming the victim crypto exchange, the Russian anti-virus heavyweight states that the ill-famous gang of IT criminals from North Korea, Lazarus, has created new malware. However, the report says that no crypto loses have been reported officially yet.

The new virus is dubbed “AppleJeus” and it got through to the platform system after one of the staff members had downloaded a trojanized app.

At the Kaspersky Lab, they believe that this is the first malware for MacOS ever developed.
