Ordinary smartphones may not be suitable enough for storing a substantial amount of crypto. Sikur has acknowledged this problem by releasing a brand-new smartphone called SIKURPhone that is specifically designed to serve as a cryptocurrency vault. The device is based on one of Sony's mid-rangers.
SIKURPhone, which runs on crypto-oriented SikurOS, is different from other Android smartphones because of its numerous security features. Sikur is currently planning to introduce its own app store that would filter all apps that can be potentially unsafe.
The company states that the new smartphone will be available as early as October.
