Ideanomics, a US-based technology company, is building a Blockchain hub in West Hartford (Connecticut, the US), according to a recent Hartford Courant report. The new fintech village will be situated at the soon-to-be-renovated old UConn campus (Ideanomics hired New Haven architecture firm to work on this $283 mln project).
The state of Connecticut lent $10 mln to Ideanomics for building this fintech center. The company pledges to create as many as 330 jobs with it. If Ideanomics manages to meet the aforementioned job target, it won’t have to pay back the state’s loan.
