McAfee-Hated HitBTC Exchange Adds Binance Coin, Crypto Community: What the Hell For?

On Monday, HitBTC made common knowledge through Twitter the listing of Binance Coin (BNB), belonging to the largest crypto exchange, Binance, paired with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The reaction of the crypto community proved ambiguous. Some people are questioning why it is necessary to add a coin, emitted by an exchange, which basically has no real value. Others are complaining that withdrawal fees for BNB on HitBTC are way too high.

HitBTC has a reputation of being a controversial platform. The most recent scandal was with the as controversial John McAfee, who sued the exchange for its policies that “have killed an unknown number of people.”
