Malta might become the first country to open a full-scale Blockchain university. Joshua Broggi, the founder of the Woolf University, is certain that a crypto hub like Malta will be a perfect place for setting up the first Blockchain-based university in the world due to its close ties both with the UK and the European Union.
The Woolf University will be completely decentralized, which will effectively eradicate administrative costs and ensure the authenticity of diplomas. Smart contracts will be utilized to control student attendance while lecturers will be paid in crypto.
As of now, the project has already gathered many prominent UK professors.
