On February 19, Justin Sun, the founder and the head of the Tron Foundation, wrote about the recently launched GRID X BitTorrent (BTT) card. He reminded users that the card comes preloaded with TRX and BTT and that these cards can be used as gifts too.

Describing the cards, the Tron founder also mentioned that these days the blockchain and crypto industries have been giving customer satisfaction much less attention than is necessary, saying that BitTorrent has focused on this issue among its other priorities.

How the new BTT card works

Over the weekend, U.Today reported about these BTT cards being available for presale soon. The card is based on the GRID technology; the Tron Card was taken as a model for it. It will allow users to receive a free BTT bonus once they top it up with TRX.

Holders can make payments in crypto through these cards, simply store their crypto on them (using as a wallet), or give them away as a present.

BTT use expands beyond file sharing

Despite the fact that BTT was meant to be a reward for BitTorrent users who share files on the platform, now it seems that the altcoin is expanding its area of use – it has been added to numerous exchanges already.

Various discussions and threads on social media show that investors are expecting BTT to perform well in the future.

Among the exchanges that have listed BTT pairs recently are Bitfinex and Bithumb.
