According to Hollywood Reporter, Johnny Depp has recently struck a deal with TaTaTu, a crypto-oriented entertainment platform. Their cooperation will include filming movies and creating other digital content.

Andrea Iervolino, who spearheads the startup, says that the famous A-lister will help them to further “embrace disruptiveness”. Meanwhile, Depp claims that we are currently in the era of democratized entertainment.

TaTaTu awards content creators with the help of tokenization. Back in June, the startup raised $575 mln (the third largest ICO round after EOS and Telegram).

Earlier, U.Today also shed light on how entertainment networks are shaping up to be a boon for amateur directors who were stifled by big-name movie studios.
