Aspen Digital has been the first to succeed in tokenization of a real estate. After the sale of crypto tokens for investors to buy a share in the St. Regis Aspen Resort the company has raised $18 mln. This resort is recognized internationally and includes a luxury hotel for almost 200 rooms with all necessary facilities and views of Rocky Mountains.
The token offering was performed via an operator registered with FINRA and SEC. Earlier, U.Today reported about the start of the sale, which had been launched on the Indiegogo platform. The sold tokens were dubbed Aspen Coins and they were Ethereum-based. One token cost $1 with a minimal deal for buying 10,000 tokens.
