On its Twitter handle, Horizen (ZEN), earlier operating as ZenCash, an anonymous coin, has spread word of the coming upgraded version 2.0.15. that is due on Sept. 27. The coin’s team insists that the update is obligatory since it contains elements that will help the platform avoid the 51-percent attack.

The tweet claims that ZEN has made several crucial updates to the initial Satoshi consent algorithm to avoid any of those attacks.

The team has asked the community to comply with the requirement before Oct. 10, since this is the day when a keyblock is expected to be formed. They also emphasize that this move will by no means split the chain in two.
