Blockchain is currently disrupting plenty of industries, and hotel businesses is not an exception. A recent partnership between a Blockchain-powered startup Aqua Intel and hotel chain Hilton Worldwide, one of the biggest hotel chains in the world, shows the omnipresence of this rapidly growing technology.

Aqua is utilizing the distributed ledger technology to increase the efficiency of hotel management by connecting the entire chain. With the integration of Blockchain, Hilton can improve the quality of its service while significantly reducing operating costs. Apart from the hotel business, the company also wants to target other time-sensitive departments.

Earlier, U.Today also reported that St. Regis Aspen, a Colorado-based luxury hotel, teamed up with Indiegogo to host its token sale.
