Glitch on Japanese Exchange Allows Investors to Buy Free Bitcoin

Osaka based cryptocurrency exchange Zaif experienced a glitch on Feb. 13 that allowed seven investors to purchase Bitcoin for free during a 20-minute window. However, the exchange discovered the error on Feb. 16 and voided the transactions. Zaif is one of the original 16 exchanges registered with Japan’s Financial Service Agency (FSA).
