As EveningStandart reports, Steve and Sam Williams had a rough past– they grew up in a poor family of Nigerian immigrants in a cramped London apartment and, on top of that, then-schoolboys were dragged into a street gang just to “fit in” with their neighborhood. However, now they are worth more than $100 mln after their Populous (PPT) currency.

The currency, which the Williams brothers had been developing for four years in their old apartment, was designed to help small and medium businesses to manage cash flow. Last June, they had an ICO that turned out to be a huge success. As of now, Populous is the 52nd biggest currency in the world with a market cap of about $121 mln.
