Six Ethereum-based projects, including several ICOs, have joined a venture capital firm to create a $100 mln endowment called the Ethereum Community Fund (ECF). The ECF will fund open-source Ethereum-based projects. Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, will be advising the ECF. Buterin himself will be using his “advisor shares,” granted him by OmiseGo and Kyber Network, to fund other open-sourced projects.
