The Cardano community is rejoicing as EMURGO's Yoroi wallet becomes available on the Play Store for all Android users. So far, the app enjoys a five-star rating.
The wallet’s major features
The brand-new wallet, which is marketed as a simple and secure way of storing ADA, supports four languages: English, Japanese, Korean, and Russian. The Yoroi Android app lets Cardano perform transactions in a matter of seconds. Notably, this is a privacy-oriented wallet, which means that no one has access to the user’s private keys. Users are praising its simplicity and elegant design.
The app for iOS users is already in the offing!
The first wallet for ADA holders
Emurgo CEO Ken Kodama made an announcement about the app release in September. On Dec. 31, U.Today reported that Trezor, one of the leading hardware wallets, started supporting Yoroi (one of the most popular requests with ADA holders). Cardano CEO Charles Hoskinson himself emphasized that the integration was conducted without the IOHK.
