Dogecoin Cracks Top 20 on CoinMarketCap

An immensely successful “joke” cryptocurrency Dogecoin has reached a new milestone by joining the top 20 biggest digital assets by a market capitalization. After recently witnessing a huge growth in price, the coin’s market cap is sitting at a whopping $619 mln. It is worth mentioning that Dogecoin has jumped by over 14 places in only one month. With that being said, the top 10 ranking doesn’t seem to be that far-fetched.

While Dogecoin has a reputation of being used by market manipulators in crypto pump-and-dump schemes, this rise in price seems completely organic. Experts state that the sudden spike is the result of a much awaited “Dogethereum Bridge.”
