On Monday, users at the Malwarebytes forum report that an iOS app CoinTicker helping to monitor crypto prices contains a Trojan virus. According to cyber security experts, the app does not show any signs of harmful activity, so a user will keep working with it not even realizing that they are being hacked.

The app infects a host computer with two ‘backdoors,’ through which a remote user can take control over the computer.
It is unknown so far how many Mac users have installed the app on their computers.
