Coinbase, a San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange spearheaded by Brian Armstrong, is asserting its dominance in the industry by planning to launch its own cryptocurrency ETF, according to a recent Business Insider report. The company has already cooperated with a Wall Street behemoth BlackRock in order to translate this plan into reality. Apart from Bitcoin, Coinbase plans to enlist other cryptocurrencies as well.

An anonymous source states that Coinbase representatives had a series of meetings with the abovementioned ETF veteran. However, there is no indication yet whether these conversations were a part of a broader cooperation.
