Emurgo CEO Ken Kodama, who is also a co-founder of Cardano, stated that his startup is about to release the first Cardano-based app– the Yoroi crypto wallet. He made an announcement online on Wednesday, after the same had been done by Charles Hoskinson, the Cardano CEO, the day before.

This is a light app for storing ADA, Kodama assures that it provides high security, speed and is easy to use.

According to Hoskinson, Yoroi is a hard fork of Icarus and the testnet for it should be launched in August.
