Blockchain Startup Appoints Fidelity’s Hadley Stern as COO

Associated Press reports that Hadley Stern, who served as senior vice president at Fidelity Labs, has recently landed a new job at Blockchain-oriented company Bloq as chief operating officer (COO). The long-term crypto bull, who earlier called Bitcoin “digital gold” and predicted that Blockchain would change the world, will be tasked with propelling the growth of the fledgling startup that develops Blockchain-powered software for businesses.

Stern has a penchant for innovations with seven years at Fidelity Investments, a major Boston-based asset manager that has been a pioneer in adopting state-of-the-art technologies for over seven decades. Now, cryptocurrencies become Fidelity’s next step with the company recently opening a new unit dubbed Fidelity Digital Asset Services.
