U.Today has recently reported how Australians sell multimillion-dollar mansions for Bitcoin. Now, Michael Kelczewski, a Pennsylvania real estate agent, is also offering an option to buy property with Bitcoin. During a recent interview, he says that embracing new payment methods provides a slew of opportunities for the industry by opening markets for international clients.
Kelczewski, who himself invests in digital assets, states that he prefers to hold coins. In 2017, he became the first property man to start accepting Bitcoin, but the buyers still paid in the US dollar. Kelczewski explains that there were property transfer requirements in Denver where the house was sold.
