South China Morning Post reports that a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency payment company Crypto.com (formerly known as Monaco) has designed the first cryptocurrency Visa card in Asia, merging the two rivaling industries in one single entity.
As of now, the card will be distributed in Hong Kong, but they soon plan to expand their global reach with Singapore being the first destination. The new card will make the process of exchanging fiat money to digital assets (and vice versa) as simple as possible.
Crypto.com is also planning to obtain money lending licenses in order to borrow funds to the crypto Visa card owners.
