A New Blockchain Bill Proposed in California

Assemblymember Ian Calderon (D-Cal) has launched assembly bill 2568. The bill would update existing laws in the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act to encompass digital signatures and smart contracts. The launch of bill 2568 makes California one of several states including Arizona, Wyoming and Tennessee that are pushing a Blockchain bill.
