Thailand’s Central Bank Cracks Down, Bans Country’s Banks From Cryptocurrency Dealings

Thailand’s central bank has ordered the country’s banks to avoid cryptocurrency transactions due to fear of illegal activity. Banks in the country have been ordered not to invest in or trade cryptocurrencies, nor to create digital currency exchanges. Thailand’s banks are also prohibited from advising clients about cryptocurrency or allowing credit cards to be used to purchase virtual currency.
