The recent spike in the price of Tezos (XTZ) seems to have encouraged some investors for moves. Besides, the coin has suddenly leaped into the top ten list of crypto assets, pushing out Stellar (XLM), Cardano (ADA) and Tron (TRX) away from spot 10.

Now, the Twitter account of Whale Alert has detected three large transactions, which mainly involve wallets with unidentified owners.

$12 mln in XTZ transferred, Binance involved

Three large transactions were detected by Whale Alert on December 13-14, of approximately 3,5 mln, 2,2 mln and 1 mln XTZ. That totals around $12 mln.

Two of them were conducted between unknown wallets and just one when the crypto was sent to an unidentified wallet from Binance.

Kraken, Binance, Coinbase + Tezos

Recently, the media reported that major global crypto exchanges Coinbase and Binance have added XTZ staking for its customers. Kraken has joined them too. This may well be the reason of the massive XTZ price surge and its leap to the top 10 spot on CoinMarketCap.

As reported by U.Today, a crypto analyst Rampage (@Thrillmex) predicted a dump that could follow this XTZ pump.

At the moment, the coin is showing a decline of 2.14 percent as opposed to the rise of +13% it had on Friday and Thursday.
