Shiba Inu's official Twitter account has made it known that it will be hosting a celebration as the metaverse arrives at SXSW.
The annual South by Southwest festival and conference, also known as SXSW or South By, is a gathering of parallel film, interactive media and music festivals and conferences jointly planned and held in Austin, Texas, in March. The event will be held this year from March 12-14.

Shiba Inu will be featured as one of the XR Experience spotlights, and the premiere of the magnificent WAGMI Temple Hub will be presented, the team stated in an earlier tweet.
Shiba Inu to be showcased
In a tweet, Shiba Inu announces that there will be a celebration in honor of the premiere of "SHIB The Metaverse," which heralds the arrival of the metaverse at SXSW.
In this regard, the Shiba Inu community and departure lounge are inviting visitors to a "metaverse happy hour" event on March 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CT to conclude press day and begin the SXSW Interactive track.
Visitors who stop by the XR Exhibition would get the chance to enjoy "The Dark VR" immersive music video experience and "Shib the Metaverse" firsthand.
Also, SHIB metaverse advisor Marcie Jastrow will participate in a panel discussion of "READY, SET, METAVERSE," which will explore the technical and creative processes of creating metaverse experiences with current technologies.
SHIB The Metaverse and its partner, The Third Floor, together with Marcie Jastrow, would serve as the panel's hosts.
This will not be the first time SHIB's metaverse will be showcased at a global event. In December, Marcie Jastrow represented SHIB in the metaverse at the Immerse Global Summit held in Miami, Florida, which had companies such as Facebook's Meta, Microsoft, Web3Equity and TerraZero in attendance.
