Lenovo Files Patent to Use Blockchain for Digital Signature Verification

Chinese tech company Lenovo has filed a patent to verify the authenticity of digital documents using Blockchain. In its application, Lenovo noted that digital signatures have proven problematic due to the lack of a standard and “technological complexity.” Likewise, the company notes that there is “no assurance” that the text of physically signed and scanned documents “was not substantially altered” after being signed.
