Georgia has become the second state to consider accepting cryptocurrency for tax payments. Georgia’s proposed law stipulates that the state’s Department of Revenue can accept tax payments in Bitcoin and any other peer-to-peer currency. The bill mandates that the cryptocurrency will be converted into US Dollars by the recipient (the state) within a day of receipt.
