The price of Enjin Coin (ENJ), the token that serves as the linchpin of the eponymous Blockchain gaming project, is up by more than 50 percent over the last 24 hours, CoinStats data shows. 

This massive price spike allowed the 52nd biggest cryptocurrency to increase its market capitalization to $79.5 mln.

A big-name partnership 

As reported by U.Today, Microsoft revealed Azure Heroes, a new rewards program that was developed in partnership with Enjin. 

Those members who contributed to the development of Microsoft Azure's open source projects can get rewarded with digital badgers in the form of non-fungible tokens. 

These badgers are based on the ERC-1155 standard. They can be stored in the Enjin wallet or sent to any Ethereum address.

Another trip to the Moon 

This is Enjin's second massive price pump this year. Notably, the previous one was also driven by the embracement of a major company.   

Back in March, the ENJ price surged by more than 70 percent after its official tie-up with South Korean tech behemoth Samsung Electronics.  

ENJ ended up being among the first altcoins that were added to Samsung's Blockchain wallet
