A while ago, U.Today reported about the Eastern Economic Forum taking place in Vladivostok in September. Back then, one mln AmurCoins were emitted for the use of the guests to buy souvenirs, booking hotel rooms, etc.

Now the Forum is taking place and a startup from the Amur Oblast in Russia, the AmurCoin emitter, presented a Blockchain platform dubbed Amurcoin.io.

The electronic venue is meant to attract foreign investment. Besides, users of the platform, mostly local area businessmen, will be able to release their own tokens on Amurcoin.io and use smart contracts which are planned to launch later.
