Over the past year, BTC.com has minted around 21 percent of all recently produced Bitcoins. Currently, it boasts over 16 percent of BTC hashrate. On Thursday, the company announced releasing an ETH mining pool.

BTC.com will work with both Ethereum and its hard fork Ethereum Classic. This will enable customers to switch between the two coins for larger profits.

As a reminder, BTC.com is a mining pool belonging to Bitmain, the top producer of ASIC mining gear. This year Bitmain plans to conduct an IPO, which already seems controversial to many.
