The other day, Eddie Hughes, a member of the British Parliament tweeted that he had used Bitcoin for the first time in his life. He donated it for charity purposes.

The amount in question is 0.0040037 BTC, about 20 pounds sterling. The donation was made to Royal National Lifeboat Institution. This organization deals with lifesaving at sea, running boats along the UK coastline.

The MP also said that he had bought the Bitcoin from the eToro exchange and used Samurai Wallet for the transaction.
