Litecoin Foundation to Hold Global Summit in September in San Francisco

The Litecoin Foundation just announced that it will hold Global Litecoin Summit in San Francisco in September through a tweet. More details are yet to be released.

The Foundation, which oversees the Litecoin’s development, recently terminated the funding for a Litecoin merchant startup, LitePay. LitePay’s founder and Litecoin CEO Charlie Lee said he would halt the operations and well the company.  This was, of course, a rather big blow for a digital currency that is building itself to be a simple and effective payment system.
